Koh Lanta lies between Krabi and Trang. Phi Phi Island is visable from the beaches of Koh Lanta.

Koh Lanta Island is 6 km wide and over 30 kms long,with distinct 9 beache areas.

The Koh Lanta boat ferry or the car ferry dock at the north most of the island at Baan Saladan.  From Baan Saladan, a drive south down to the Koh Lanta Marine National Parkwill take about one hour.
