Krabi Town is located at the mouth of the Krabi River, it is a big town or a very small city.

Most of the Krabi Town guesthouses are located around the 'old pier' of Chao Fa Road.
The Krabi international airport is 12km outside the city center area. And the 'new pier' is located 5km from the city center area of Krabi Town.
Krabi Town has no beach. Rather Krabi Town has a lovely waterfront with views of the mangrove river. Krabi's most famous landmark, Khao Kanab Nam, features two 'rabbit-ear' rocks, visible from river road of Utarakit Road.
